My Son Needed a Math Tutor

17 December, 2012 (21:32) | Uncategorized | By: admin

When my son’s teacher requested a meeting with me, I was concerned because I had a feeling he was not doing as well as he had led me to believe. She confirmed my worst fears, but she also gave me some hope too. She told me that he can comprehend the material when she spends extra time with him, but she was finding it difficult to give him the individual attention that he needed since there were 25 other students in her class too. She suggested I do an online search for a san francisco math tutor since that was the subject where most of his problems were.

She wanted me to look at the different tutoring options since I would be the one paying the money to hire someone to help my son. I found quite a few pretty fast, but I also realized that I would not hire most of them pretty fast too. His teacher had given me a list with a few tutors on it in the area, in case I had a hard time making a decision. The one that I found online was also high on her list, so I went ahead and read everything I could on that tutoring website.

I was happy that my son would have someone who had been trained in the subjects that he needed the most help in. I had a consultation with the tutor that I chose, and I really liked the approach and methods that would be used in the tutoring appointments. My son enjoyed working with the tutor since he could finally go at his own pace. His tutor explained everything in detail and was very patient with him. It did not take long at all before his grades started to raise again, and I could not be happier with the route we took to do that.
